Gas management dispatching system

Purpose

The system is intended for controlling pressure and temperature of gas management of a large-scale industry, which has remote control points.

The complex serves for maintaining uninterruptable supply, reasonable distribution, registering production and consumption of gas fuel. (nature, blast-furnace and coke-oven gas).

Basic functions

• Temperature and pressure remote sensors inquiry, sensors remote up to 8 km.
  
• visualization of the gas equipment current parameters values
  
• automatic registering of events log (warning and emergency alarms, operator"s actions)
  
• archiving the gas equipment functioning parameters in the history file.
  
• analysis of archives and generating reports.
  

Realization features

The system includes:

• operator"s workstation (SCADA server, 2 workstations);
  
• multipexer panel ( 3 MicroPC controllers) for primary data collection from the stations and transmittin to the upper level. Each line is equipped with a Short-Haul modem.
  
• 25 local units for local data collection including ADAM module and Short-Haul modems.
  

As the data collection points are remote from the central station up to 8 km the Short-Haul modems were manufactured and introduced for working via the dedicated lines.

The upper level system is developed for three thousand parameters on the basis of SCADA-system Fix32 by Intellution.
