Drives control station

Purpose

The station is developed for controlling of eight reversible engines under conditions which don"t allow using contact commuting devices, for example a gate located in the dusty rooms and also in the places where the staff can be only for a limited time.


Basic functions

  • control for the limit switches
  • up-state control.
  • moving the gate into the position set from the upper level.
  • control for the drives from a portable control board.
  • control for drives by the upper-level operator.
  • upper level PC events and alarms registering.
  • option of a more complex algorithm as per Customer requirement.

Control system structure

The control is easily effected from the local portable control board, using which the engine number and moving direction could be chosen. According to the Customer requirement it is possible to switch the station to the upper-level computer.

The station locates near the power equipment and is switched to the upper level compute via one of the industrial networks: Protbus DP, Can, Modbus, Ethernet - this allows to organize a network in case there are several stations.

The control for the engines is implemented by ten thyristor blocks, two of them maintain moving direction choice, the rest are responsibly for startup of the corresponding engine. The control is consecutive: the first engine works then the second etc. Intellectual functions are maintained by the industrial controller Wago I/O.


Realization features

The electric drive safety automate is equipped with the autoswitch. Thus in case of one engine breakdown (automate stop) the automate cocks up and the control of the other engines continues. Switching of the inoperative automate is prohibited until the upper-level operator cancels the failure signal.

For revising price the sensors maybe not used , with the trailer calibration used instead.
