Control system for pulse-gas preparation station Dust-ignition-proof

Purpose

The control system is used for the control for production of dry pulse-gas:

  • pneumatically controlled accessories of gas-main compressor stations;
  • underground gas depositaries;
  • gas-distributing stations and of the other objects.

Basic functions

  • station startup and stop.
  • control for station"s parameters.
  • automatic dewatering of pulse-gas.
  • automatic switch to the dewatering of the standby after regeneration adsorber
  • automatic control for gas supply via the bypass piping past the dewatering unit in case of output surge tank gas pressure drop lower than 35 atmospheres or in case of bypass line membrane safeguard pickup.
  • transmitting the data about the station up-state to the main control panel
  • manual control for the stations" aggregates during the adjustment works.
  • emergency switch to the bypass line past the dewatering unit in case of bypass line membrane safeguard pickup.
  • electric safety of electric equipment power circuits, electric safety of station"s lines connecting with the equipment installed in the explosion danger zone.
  • station"s emergency stop and emergency signaling to the main control panel
  • in case of power switching-off or emergency stop the station"s equipment saves the number of the activated adsorber, dewatering time, working time and the unfinished regeneration sign.
  • registering the station"s operating time (in hours) with timer commander for the operations execution.

Control system structure

The system is a unit-block construction made of three architecture items.

The system is developed in compliance with GOST14254-80, has the level of protection no less than IP54. As for safety, temperature and air humidity resistance complies it with the U5 group of GOST 15150-69 (temperature range -5 C up to +50 C, relative humidity 100% at +200C). Keeps the up-state during transportation and at the temperature from -55 C up to +50 C.

As for dust-ignition-proof complies with the GOST22782.5 and GOST 22782.0 requirements. For work modes and elements state indication there is an option of switching the setup panel with software ensuring collecting, processing and visualization of the data from the station as symbolic circuits. The system includes the hardware and software means of anti-impulse and pickup noise in the signal lines.


Dust-ignition-proof maintenance

Dust-ignition-proof is achieved by isolating of electric lines into the dust-ignition-proof shell which tolerates the explosion pressure and prevents the explosion from getting into the environment.

The safety of the shell is checked during its manufacturing by hydraulic test of the casing and the cover with overpressure of 1 Mpa during 10 sec.

Environment resistance IP54 by GOST 14353-93 is achieved by using the rubber compression of the cover slot and rubber compression ring in the connecting pipe.

Dust-ignition-proof of the casing is achieved by using slot anti-explosive shield. The screw-bolts fastening the details with anti-explosion surfaces are buried into the securing sockets. The boltheads can be accessed only by alien-key.

Dust-ignition-proof of the cable input is maintained by its compression with an epoxy compound.
